Long way to Tallinn
by Georg Molz
This or something similar-sounding were the first words from my friends and some acquaintances at university in Germany when I informed them that I ant to go to Tallinn for studying one semester abroad.
The facial expression from my parents was a mixture between horrified faces (if your grandparents would watch SAW I–VI in a row) and the expectation that I am only kidding. But I didn’t make any joke!
Exchange students caught a glimps of South-Estonia’s landscapes and tasted hard drink puskar

From February the 27th to March the 1st, the legendary South-Estonia trip took place. Beforehand we had to register and like everyone expected, all the 40 places were booked within 14 minutes. All started with making preparations like buying a sleeping bag, snacks and some drinks. Ready, steady, gooo!

by Vojtech Roupa
Six years ago, when we took a family trip to St. Petersburg, my weakness for travelling stated. On the way to the “city on the water” we made a few stops and one of them, the crucial for me, was Estonia, the country that Americans (and not only them!) often situate to all parts of the world but not to Northern Europe.
One weekend in Tallinn was enough to fall in love with the city and I’ve started to speak about the capital just in superlatives. Positive superlatives!
